Product Information Clarice Cliff ORIGINAL BIZARRE (OB) octagonal sandwich plate, small size. Art Deco original. Circa 1928. This attractive early piece is thickly hand-painted and bright with a bold, geometric rotating-star pattern in blue, orange and yellow, outlined in green and surrounded by a thick yellow band around the edge of the plate. A very stylish design! In overall good condition with no damage, chips or stains; some minor paint scuffs/frits. Age-related crazing. Stamped with the large script Bizarre by Clarice Cliff mark to the base. Also has an impressed date stamp (indistinct). Width of plate is 14.5cm. Please see photos for more details.
